This is a good shot showing examples of both bucket molds and stacking sand by hand. Once a bucket mold is complete, I can increase the height by stacking more sand on top of it by hand. It's important to also put a lot of sand around the bucket mold to fortify it or the sand stacked on top will collapse it.
I've just started to carve it.
